gen z doing advertising.
we're the barkzzz: a gen z freelance agency. no big office, no 40-slide decks, just creatives who grew up on the feed and make ads that feel like it.

brief
goal, audience, challenge.
drag the Z →worth it? yes.
our first client? we are us.
before we brand anyone else, we branded ourselves. here's the brief we gave ourselves, the data behind it and the idea that came out.
what we asked ourselves for
gen z doesn't hate ads. they hate boring ones.
they skip, block and scroll past ads, but they trust people. that's the gap we work in.
tap a number for the source.
boring ads put people to sleep. we're the bark that wakes them up.
zzz what most ads do to gen z. also: gen z, three times.
the bark loud, short, impossible to ignore. the wake-up call.
the barkzzz a name that's a joke, a promise and a logo at the same time.
logo, symbol, mark
"The Bark" with the zzz off the "k". the zzz is the symbol of gen z, the single Z is the mark of the barkzzz.
do ✓
- logo for the main sign-off, zzz for patterns and stickers, Z for avatars and tiny spaces
- charcoal on light, lime on dark
- leave space around it: a quarter of the logo's height
don't ✗
- retype the logo in a font
- stretch, outline, glow or gradient it
- put stickers on top of it
- separate the zzz from the "k" in the logo
colour
lime and charcoal do the talking. paper gives them room. pink only shows up on the one button that matters. tap a colour to copy it.
type
the logo is custom. these are its besties, all free on Google Fonts.
how we talk
like we text the group chat, then edit like pros. lowercase, short lines, max one slang word per sentence, 1–3 emoji.
